Education | Britannia earned her Bachelor's degree in Education in 2018 from Lindenwood University and her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development with an emphasis is Higher Education in 2022 from the University of Minnesota. | |
Experience | While Britannia was earning her Master’s degree at the University of Minnesota, she served as a Graduate Assistant at the Lindahl Academic Center, where she found her passion for higher education and working with student-athletes. Britannia’s career in higher education began at Menlo College, where she was an academic advisor and helped the institution transition from the NAIA to the NCAA. She then moved into the career development sector at Santa Clara University, where she was the liaison to the athletic department and created partnerships with the San Francisco 49ers and San Jose Sharks organizations. | |
What you need to know about Britannia Gillanders | Britannia is a former hockey student-athlete at Lindenwood University. Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Britannia is a big fan of Tim Hortons and maple syrup. She enjoys all outdoor activities, reading, and walking her dog, Toby. She is passionate towards building meaningful relationships with students and creating multiple avenues for equal opportunity. |
