| Education | Kathleen or KR graduated with a Master’s in English from the University of Southern Indiana in 2019. Since 2022, she has been at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Writing Studies working on completing her PhD in Rhetoric and Scientific and Technical Communication. Her speciality is internet rhetoric and the rhetoric of silence. She plans on graduating in May of 2027. | |
| Experience | KR has spent the last two years at the Lindahl Academic Center first as a learning assistant and then as a graduate mentor. Before moving to Minnesota, she worked as an academic mentor for Purdue Athletics. | |
| What you need to know about KR Bolander | As a Hoosier from Lafayette, Indiana, KR grew up surrounded by basketball and has actually played on a court in the middle of a cornfield. She is an avid reader and also enjoys listening to music, taking long walks, and being with her family and friends. Feel free to call her Kathleen or KR; she grew up with four sisters and therefore learned to respond to many names. | |
