1) What is the difference between a mentor tutor and subject tutor?

Subject tutors work with students on a specific class focusing more on concepts and test prep. Mentor tutors act as academic coaches working with students on all of their classes helping to organize, teach study skills and check to see if work is completed.

2) Can I apply to be a tutor even if I am not a student?


3) When are tutors needed?

Anytime the MAC is open. Monday -Thursday 8am to 10pm, Friday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 4pm to 10pm

4) Do I have to work a minimum or maximum hours per week?

You can work as few a 3 hours a week and as many as 14 for graduate students/20 for undergraduate students
